VCON 40 with the theme of Time Travel is coming up already! Next weekend, in fact.

As you can see, I have made several new artworks, some of which I have decided not to share just yet. To see the rest (like an adorable raptor baby and a superhero kitty, for ie), I encourage you to join us.

The event is taking place in a very easily accessed hotel this year (not so much last year), about 10 mins from our local rapid transit system, across from the city of Richmond's largest mall. The vendor and artist alley, as usual, is free to check out and shop in.

My art (not all, but most) will be for sale in the Art Show event. They will be for direct buy, and auction. This includes prints and originals. All my new work is pre-matted and comes in the plastic sleeve. I splurged this year on mattes actually this year to ensure I didn't have to run around finding them on the last day. Working on that...sense of time.

In addition, they have a special extra event on Thursday, so technically there are 4 days of events this time rather than 3.

Dates: Oct 1- Oct.4.

Time is flying for me as I'm also assisting getting the word out, and have the techy difficulties of my software freezing and shutting down while I work  >_< (lost my first file, joke on me for not saving...Painter has been having 'issues' lately and I'm still a newbie learning the brushes)....and my printer is out on ink. Joy.

The sun is also out this weekend I hear?, so I will probably be taking advantage of this....that means 2 less days lol (also a family dinner, and been going to job interviews and stuff. gosh, my printer ran out of ink too! I can't print any posters out...or resumes...or art test sheets.

Anyway, go to VCON for all the events, but obviously, I am also in advertising this to help advance my art's audience...so please do take a stop by in the art gallery and visit my panel :). I will not be under "aoikita", but I have confidence people can recognize my work from my gallery.

Also: I have actually started making cards, at least some tests to better grasp how they look. My first 4 attempts will be for sale (I don't really have a job right now, so...I'd appreciate the income lol).
